"Everyone Counts" is a personal photo assignment to capture the faces of Bersih 3.0 Brisbane participants. Every portrait was taken from a single subject (except for two close friends, Subathra & Jacinth) to convey the message that the presence of everyone strengthens the sound of our people in Bersih 3.0. We could not afford to lose anybody. In overseas, the presence of every fellow Malaysian and the sound of a similar language (or accent) provide more warmth that is not always appreciated back in our own country. As travelers, all we can do is to tell the Malaysian government that our country's political issues are now an international concern - people from all around the world, whether Malaysian or not, are watching.
《人人都重要》是一项为了纪录每个 Bersih 3.0 Brisbane 参与者面孔的个人摄影任务。每个参与者都很重要，因为在国外的大马子民比较少，所以每个人的出场就显得更加独特。在外地听见熟耳的语言或口音、看见熟悉的容貌，都会让人倍感安全——这是身处国内时难以体会的感觉。身为他乡游子，我们能做的就是凝聚每个人的声音，告诉我国政府：我国的政治丑闻已经是全球瞩目的新闻，我们已经无路可退，现在就是做出彻底改变的时刻。
